Kind words from real homes.

“Josephine's invaluable design expertise played a key part in our house renovation project. She brought inspiring ideas about how to effectively use our space, how to use colour to achieve different moods and beautiful colour schemes which we would simply not have discovered or been bold enough to choose without her on board! We trusted her judgement which also took any potential headache out of the many choices and decisions which inevitably become part of extensive house projects. We are thrilled with the end result and thoroughly recommend Josephine to anyone looking for an interior designer.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Josephine. She is creative, good at listening and incredibly easy to work with, always offering a variety of design options tailored to our tastes and practical needs. She managed our project with such efficiency and coordination that I didn't have to worry about a thing - even in the third trimester of my pregnancy! Josephine is a designer who is both visionary and highly organized - highly recommend!”

“We have worked with Josephine twice: 1st time was 7 years ago to help with designing our 3-bedroom flat and then recently to help with our 3 bedroom house. Josephine was always a pleasure to work with - full of great ideas and always open to new ones. She would always respond very promptly to our messages. Thank you Josephine for your inspiration and guidance and we 100% recommend her to anyone who needs help with designing their home.”

“I highly recommend working with Josephine. I haven't got a creative bone in my body and I was really struggling to turn the house I bought into a home. Josephine identified the issues I was having with the space and was quickly able to come up with mood boards for me to choose from. What felt like a mammoth task was handled effortlessly by Josephine and very soon colour schemes, furniture and electrical fittings were all chosen, bought and installed in my home. I get a lot of compliments from my friends and family about the transformation of my once dark house into a fun and vibrant place which suits my personality perfectly.”

“Josephine did an amazing job with our flat renovation. We were totally overwhelmed with how to approach our project. Josephine supported us with her calm, supportive and methodical approach. She is an amazing artist and guided us to pick some amazing features within our budget. She also saves us some money with some clever efficiencies. And she managed the process of hiring and directing the builders/decorators smoothly and without breaking a sweat. We love our refurbished flat! JLV is highly recommended for any renovation project!”

She was collaborative throughout, taking our ideas on board and offering thoughtful suggestions along with several options for each space. She created a lovely flow through the house while keeping each room distinctive and always balanced style with the practical needs of our family. Josephine also handled logistical details such as measurements, orders, and coordinating with contractors and her trusted suppliers. This added huge value and reduced stressful aspects of the project. Josephine brought a wealth of knowledge, expertise and ideas. Her calm, organised approach ensured the whole project became enjoyable and exciting rather than overwhelming. The end result feels both personal and beautifully cohesive, we are delighted with our home.”
