Bespoke joinery design

Good joinery makes awkward corners useful and gives a room its backbone. Every unit is designed around what you need to store and how the room is used.

What is bespoke joinery design?

Bespoke joinery design means storage and furniture drawn to fit your exact space — alcove units, bookcases, media walls, wardrobes and eaves storage. JLV Design produces the design and drawings, and your carpenter (or one we recommend) builds from them.

Right for you if…

  • Alcoves either side of a chimney breast
  • Loft eaves and under-stair spaces
  • Home offices, dressing rooms and media walls

The benefits

  • Made to measure

Uses every centimetre — no gaps, no wasted space.

  • Designed, not just built

Proportions, colours and handles chosen to suit the room.

  • Build-ready drawings

Clear drawings so your carpenter can quote and build accurately.

FAQs

Questions about bespoke joinery

Do you build the joinery yourselves?

No — we design it. As Joséphine puts it, she designs the unit to fit the space and the carpenter builds it from her drawings. We can recommend carpenters we trust.
